The Summer Internship Program offers paid summer internships for international bachelor’s and master’s students in Finnish companies and organisations. Internships take place between May and September in the Helsinki metropolitan area and are aimed at students in technology and business-related fields. Salaries follow the applicable collective labour agreement (TES) or are at least €1463 per month.

The program is organised in collaboration with the cities of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa and the following universities:

• Aalto University
• Hanken School of Economics
• University of Helsinki
• Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

To apply, you must:

• be an international degree student or recent graduate interested in gaining work experience in Finland
• be currently studying at Metropolia UAS and registered as an attending student, or have graduated from Metropolia on or after 1st of March 2025.
• study business administration or engineering/technology
• have Helsinki, Espoo or Vantaa as your municipality of residence
• have at least A2.1 level Finnish skills (for example, at least two Finnish language courses completed)
